Julie Hyslop BHSAI/BHSII
British Dressage Accredited Trainer -
Julie owns VVEq with husband Mark. She trained at Talland
with Pammy Hutton for 3 valuable years, She has 25 years of
experience in horse care and just as important customer care.
She regularly rode as part of the hugely successful Fosse Manor
team-chase team, evented and has done the Melton Cross Country
Ride 10 times. She has ridden and produced show hacks and
hunters at county level and qualified at HOYS. Julie has
qualified and been placed at the Regional Dressage Championships
for the last four years and has recently won the Medium
Restricted Class at this years
Regionals and secured her place at the Nationals in September.

Julie's young horse 'DHI Krackatoa' was purchased in March 2006 and had not been competed. Since Julie has owned him, he has won numerous BD tests and been consistently placed at the regionals and is now competing at Advanced Medium level. Julie trains with Ian Woodhead whose input over the last two years has been invaluable. |
Julie has a great rapport with ‘quirky’ horses and freely admits to preferring retraining difficult horses and enjoys the challenge - Julie is always on the lookout for another special star to retrain. Her pupils are out competing BD with great success and they don’t often come home without BD points or a qualification for the regionals. Although she is passionate about training and competing with the dressage livery clients, she is equally caring about teaching the less experienced clients and puts her heart and soul into this. Just as she enjoys training difficult horses she is very experienced and understanding when teaching a novice or nervous client who has perhaps experienced problems elsewhere.
