Vale View boasts world class facilities which are second to none. This includes 2 Large Indoor Arenas and 4 Outdoor Arena. All of our arenas are interconnected via surfaced pathways. We have copious amounts of lorry parking on hard standing. We have permanent newly refurbished toilets and showers. The Signature Café and Nags Essentials tack shop are on site and open most days. 


We can offer packages for outside hire and camps to suit many requirements. Hires can be priced by the hour, day or weekend. On site Catering is available via. The Signature Café. No Individual or Society want the same thing so we can tailor our hires to suit your individual needs. Please note that weekends and summer dates are always busy and hires need to book well in advance to secure a date.

NATIONAL ARENA (Indoor)


Situated closest to the reception area and is overlooked by the Café. It is 66m x 25m and surfaced by Andrews Bowen. It is covered by the PA system and has a commentary box in the bottom right corner which is accessed from the upstairs in the centre. It also has 2 access doors one which leads from an outdoor arena which can be used as a warm up.  It has a small standing gallery. Our national arena is where we regularly hold unaffiliated and affiliated dressage competitions.

INTERNATIONAL ARENA (Indoor)


This is the larger of our two indoor arenas and is 70m x 30m with a brand new Andrews Bowen ProWax surface installed September 2022. It has an in built judging box and is covered by the PA system. It also has a seating gallery which can seat 200 people in tiered seating. Additional seating is available up to an extra 250. The arena has three access doors for horses, two of which lead onto other arenas.  During the winter season the International Arena hosts all of our British Show jumping competitions as well as our unaffiliated Show jumping and all of our multi-day Dressage Championships.

TOP OUTDOOR ARENA


The top outdoor arena is 60x30m and is frequently used as a warm up arena for the National Indoor Arena.  It is also surfaced by Andrews Bowen.   It has two access slopes to the bottom outdoor arena and a set of steps to jump up or down. There is also a judge’s box that overlooks both the top and bottom outdoor arenas.

MIDDLE OUTDOOR ARENA


The middle outdoor arena is 75m x 28m and is also surfaced with Andrews Bowen surfaces. As well as having access to the top outdoor arena it also has access to the International arena and a surfaced path way round the side of the International onto the All-weather cross country arena. It has a shared judge’s box with the top outdoor arena. This arena is regularly used for our show jumping warm up. 

LAKESIDE ARENA (All-weather cross country)


The arena which opened in April 2019 is roughly 100m x 90m with an Andrews Bowen ProWax surface and is perfect for all levels of rider. The arena features natural undulations, a water complex with steps of varying heights, several ditches and steps. We have a range of Cross country fences from 60cm - 110cm which are built to a BE standard and are weighted however, we are looking to expand our selection to offer other heights as well. The arena has connections to the International Arena, Bottom and top Outdoor Arenas plus the Grand Prix Arena.

Our arena is open to hire throughout the week and can be booked through our event calendar.  Our cross county course is rebuilt approximately every two weeks.

GRAND PRIX SHOWJUMPING ARENA


This show jumping arena opened in May 2019 is 70m x 80m and regularly holds our Summer British Show jumping competitions and qualifiers. This arena can be connected to the all-weather cross country arena or used separately. It also features its own holding chute, viewing platform and judge’s box. It is also regularly used as an extension to the cross country course. This arena can easily hold 3 International size Dressage Arenas and is used for our BD Premier League and other prestigious Dressage Competitions.  It has also previously been divided for showing rings.

The Grand Prix and All Weather Cross Country Arena has a combined total of 24,000 square meters!

Camps

With the wide range of facilities and arenas available, Vale View is becoming increasingly popular for Camps. We already host camps for 3 Pony Clubs, International Eventing Trainers often hold their pre-season and mid-season camps here using our fabulous facilities and we hold BD Camps too.

Restaurant Hire

Private hires are available for meetings, lectures, and other events, catering services can also be tailored to suit requirements. Please contract Wendy or Neil of the Signature Café at Vale View for more information: 07885 766794.


Stabling

Our facilities also include a block of 30 Cheval stables which are permanently situated overlooking our middle Outdoor arena and our International Arena. Each stable has rubber matting and comes with a base layer of shavings. Our stabling can be hired out for the day or for an overnight stay.
For Multi day shows we can offer temporary Stables in from L.H. Woodhouse Limited if a larger quantity is required. These are usually situated on the lorry park and will be charged extra at cost.

**Additional shaving can also be bought from the onsite Tack Store Nags Essentials.


Car and Lorry Park

Our car park can be found in front of the main Building where the Office, Bathrooms, Café and Tack Shop can also be found. Our large lorry park is all on a hard standing surface, so no need to worry about getting stuck in mud!


Additional Bathrooms

In addition to our onsite bathrooms located in the main building, a bathroom/shower pod was added in summer 2022 which is located just before the lorry park situated against the outer wall of EHE eventing yard. Bathroom renovations in the main building were completed in 2023 to a very high standard, we now have a shower cubicle situated in both the ladies and the gentlemen’s rest rooms.
